Privacy policy

This policy explains what Alpha Brothers Glass collects through this website, why, and what we do not do with it. It is written to be read rather than to be skipped.

What we collect

Only what you type into the estimate form, which is:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • What kind of glass work you need, and whether the property is commercial or residential
  • Whether you ticked the box asking us to text you
  • Which page of this site you submitted from

We do not ask for your address, your date of birth, any payment details or any government identifier through this website. If a quote needs a site address we will take it when we speak to you.

Why we collect it

To contact you about the estimate you asked for, and to price and schedule the work. That is the whole purpose.

Texting you

Submitting the form is your consent for us to contact you about the estimate you requested. The tick box is separate and narrower: it is permission to send you text messages about it. It is optional, it is unticked by default, and leaving it unticked does not affect the service you get or the price you are quoted.

If you do opt in, standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not opt you out of us calling you back about your estimate.

Who else sees it

Your inquiry is stored in the customer management system operated by WebDevAuto, who build and run this website for us, so that it reaches the right person and does not get lost. They process it on our behalf and under our instructions.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do not pass your details to other contractors.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records so we have a history of work quoted and carried out, which matters when you call back about a warranty. If you would like your inquiry deleted, ask us and we will do it.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run advertising trackers. The estimate form uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell a person apart from an automated script, which is subject to Google's own privacy policy and terms.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or email and we will deal with it.
