Accessibility statement
Last updated 26 August 2026
Alpha Brothers Glass wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard on its own, voice control, or a browser zoomed well past its default size.
What we aim for
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That is the standard most commonly referenced in the United States for public-facing websites.
What that means in practice on this site
- Every page has one main heading and a proper heading structure, so a screen reader can navigate by headings.
- A skip link at the very top of each page jumps straight to the main content.
- Every form field has a visible label attached to it, not just placeholder text.
- Text color contrast is measured against the actual background it sits on, and meets the AA thresholds. We checked this with a tool rather than by eye.
- Every part of the site can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visibly outlined.
- Buttons and links are large enough to hit comfortably on a phone.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives describing the work shown. Purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Answers in the frequently asked questions are present in the page itself rather than loaded when you click, so a screen reader and a search engine both see them.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the site respects that and turns animation off.
Known limitations
We would rather tell you what is not perfect than claim it is.
- Some photographs of completed work are described in general terms. If a specific detail in an image matters to you, call us and we will describe it.
- This site is new. Automated testing catches only around half of accessibility problems, so it is likely something has been missed that only a real person would find.
Tell us if something does not work
If any part of this site stops you doing what you came to do, we want to know, and we will fix it. Contact us and tell us what page you were on and what happened:
- Phone: (801) 678-5770, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm
- Email: dustin@alphabrothersglass.net
You will not be passed around. If you cannot use the estimate form, call us and we will take the details over the phone instead, which gets you exactly the same service.
