Industrial and commercial units, and older homes
The commercial side here is not just retail frontage. Clearfield has a large amount of warehouse, light industrial and office space, and that means door glass, office fronts inside a unit, partitions carved out of open floor plate, and the unglamorous but constant work of replacing panes that something has been driven into.
Industrial units also come with access considerations that a retail frontage does not. Loading bays in use, forklifts moving, restricted hours, and openings that are higher and wider than anything in a house. Worth telling us about at the estimate rather than on install day.
The housing is a different job again. A lot of Clearfield went up decades ago, and older houses mean single pane glass, early double glazing that has long since lost its seal, and aluminum frames that have taken forty winters. Frequently the frame is fine and only the glass has failed, which keeps it the cheap kind of job.

Where can I get commercial and industrial glass work done in Clearfield?

Can an office be built inside a warehouse using glass partitions?
Yes, and it is one of the most common industrial jobs we do. A glazed office inside a unit gives you a supervised view of the floor without building a solid box. Full height glazing next to a door or in a walkway is a hazardous location under code, so it is tempered, and it needs manifestation at eye level so nobody walks into it.
Do glaziers need a site induction for industrial work?
Often, and it is better handled before the day than on it. Tell us at the measure whether you need inductions, permits, high vis, or a specific window for hot works, and we will arrange it in advance. Turning up and being unable to start is a wasted visit for both of us.
Can single pane windows in an older Clearfield home be upgraded?
In many cases yes. If the frame is sound, an insulated unit can go into the existing opening, which cuts the draught and the condensation without replacing the whole window. Where the frame is too shallow to take a thicker unit or has rotted, we will tell you that rather than forcing a unit that will not seal.
